Dr. Farmer is an experienced, infectiously enthusiastic public speaker who regularly talks at venues ranging from public meetings to scientific symposia. He has recently spearheaded a public outreach effort designed to increase the public’s knowledge of and interest in chemistry, which has taken him to high schools, middle schools, colleges, and public meetings to present and discuss chemistry topics. This widely popular effort shows that Dr. Farmer has the ability to discuss complex scientific topics in a manner that virtually any audience can understand and enjoy, and he will harness these skills to promote the book.
